The Control System Of Religion

The Control System Of Religion Cover This page is to hopefully Awaken some of you people out there. There are 2 types of Controls Systems in place today.... Mainstream Religion and Government. Just for the Record... I am not Anti-Religion or Anti-Government. I am Anti-Corruption which exists in both of these. I am also a Truth Seeker. Plus both of these Institutions are designed to keep us in Ignorance and in Control. Now please understand that my Words are simply my opinions from what I have been taught by Beings of Light. I will say however that it is good to study all the Religions so that you may can try to separate the Truth from the Lies. Everyone has their own Truth. But a True Spiritual person has an open Mind and will listen then make their own conclusions. If you truly want to be Free... open your Hearts and your Minds. Escape the Matrix.

So on this page I will discuss Religion and the Control it has on most humans.

Religion is the the Control System that keeps us in Spiritual Ignorance. I am talking about mainstream Religions. Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Wicca and the worst of all is Scientology. I will however say... Buddhism and Hinduism are the more Spiritual of all the Religions combined. They actually teach a Spiritual Path. But they are still filled with "Control" as they are taught by man.
Sorry if some of you get your panties in a Knot reading my words, but hear me out and you will understand what I am saying. Even if you do not agree with me... I known you will ponder upon my words.
All these Religions including New Age Religions were put in place to control us and keeps us in Spiritual ignorance. Just the fact that there are so many religions is enough to confuse anyone as to what the "Truth" is. The Religions are always fighting amongst each other as to who has the Truth. Look at the world today...
Wars being waged such as the Muslims fighting the Western Crusaders of Christianity. This has been going on for Centuries.
All these Religions have on thing in common. They all have a Sacred Book that they all follow and deem that it is the true Word of (their) God. The problem with that is these books were written by man. The even bigger problem is that they were all altered time and time again by man. For example.... it is like telling a story in your office at work. By the time it gets around the whole office... it has changed. People add in their own little twist to the story and so forth. Now imagine that same story being told for over 2,000 years. You know damn well the story will be quite different if it even is the same story at all.
I would have to say that the Bible is the most distorted of all the Religious books. It has been rewritten so many times it is not even funny. Today there are a countless number of versions of the Bible. Plus there are so many Teachings of other Prophets that were taken out out of the Bible in order to hide the truth from of such as the teachings of Reincarnation and many other subjects. The worst Crime against humanity is when the Church took the Bible and changed it to a "One God System". Pick up any Bible and you will only see the word "God". No not Gods (plural) but God as in singular. The original Bible had many, many different Deities/Gods in it. So there were many Gods and Goddesses and a great Hierarchy of Beings. They also changed the real story about Jesus and why he came here. He did not come here to save us from our Sins. He came here to teach us how to escape this Matrix of Life and Reincarnations and that his returning meant the return of the Christ Consciousness in people and not his actual physical return. This is a whole other story I will soon write a page on.
So now we have a Bible in many different versions today and then we have many different versions of the Christian Religion. Once again... all of them arguing as to who is right with their views and their version of the Bible. You have the Baptists saying the Catholics are going to Hell and vise versa. This shows you just how dysfunctional these Religions are.
The fact that they teach us that we should believe what what was written in a book by man and follow their Path or suffer Eternal Damnation is such a joke. The same goes for the Islamic Religion and the Extremists. Yes... blow yourself up and kill hundreds of innocent people and you will be a Martyr rewarded with Rivers of Wine and Virgins for your pleasure..... LOL. To believe such crap you truly have to be a extremely unintelligent being. Both these Religions are simply forms of Brain washing. Yes... keeping us in Spiritual Ignorance so we will never escape the Matrix. It is even worse in the Arabic Countries where there Religious beliefs are Law. This is a Control System to the extreme. Although I think the Bible is the biggest Book filled with Lies.... I would have to say that Religion of Islam is the worst when it come to brainwashing people and Controlling them. Look at how they degrade women and make them cover every part of their bodies all in the name of God and Religion or kill one of their own children if they convert to Christianity. These are some seriously messed up people.
This is truly the horrible Power of Religion and Government combined.

Most of these Religions have been designed to Enslave us. The truly sad part is that these ideas are instilled in us as children. Yes we are brainwashed as a child so that when we grow up we think that this is the only Truth. Truly sad isn't it...? You can take any child and if you taught them that Sponge Bob was God... they would grow up thinking this is the truth. The same way they are taught about Santa Claus.
Yes... even the New Age Religions are filled with lies also. I must also state that even the Grimoires of Magick are just as corrupt in their writings. Yes I have paid hundreds and hundreds of dollars collecting them just to find only a glimpse of truth in each of them. They were all intentionally altered to confuse us. Once again keeping the Truth from us. For example... many of the Demons listed in the Grimoires are not Demons. They are Gods and Goddesses. They also add numerous prayers that are ridiculously long such as those in the Key of Solomon and tell we have to fast and abstain from sex for long periods of time. Can you say... Bullshit? To follow the directions in these books one would never accomplish the intended task of Conjuring some Mighty Being from the Abyss or the Celestial Spheres. Let us not forget all the Theosophical bullshit that the pages are filled with that mean absolutely nothing to the soul searching individual. I will say however that part of the reason for this is also to keep the common idiot on the street from having powers to control Forces beyond their understanding. For such Powers in the hands of an Idiot would not be a good thing.

On the other side of the coin... Mainstream Religion is good in some aspects. For it instills a sense or Morality in us as we are growing up. It gives us a reason to be Good and Kind to others as in to Love our neighbors and so on. For I myself was raised Southern Baptist then went Non Denominational. This all gave me a sense of direction. But there came a day when I questioned all that I believed and knew that there had to be more than was written in the pages of the Bible. Thus begun my Journey of Soul Searching for the Truth.
Now when it comes to all the Religious and Occult books throughout History... they all have some Truth in them and some very valuable Truth. It is just that they have been distorted and changed. This is what makes it so hard to decipher what is the Truth and what is bullshit. I studied many Religions and read every book I could get my hands on. But even in readings books that modern man had written I found many of them to be tainted with "Filler". What I mean by that is the pages were filled with mumbo jumbo words and ideas that never really got straight to the point. It was like eating Bread all the time and never getting that juicy Steak. Give the Bread to the common simple and closed minded people..... I wanted my God Damn Steak...!

If you want Truth..... you only need to look inside yourself. You are God. You Body is a Temple so there is no need to go to a physical Temple/building where others meet to congregate. You only need to sit and "be still" and listen to what the Universe has to tell you along with your own God self. When it comes to wanting to know more information about who you are and why you are here.... "Ask and you shall receive". Ask that the Truth be shown to you and it will be revealed. Not all at once but over time it will I promise you.

So what is my main point of all this I have said....?
Well... read every Religious and Occult book you can get your hands on. From each of them you will retain a Grain of Truth and if you have read enough books you just might have almost a whole Cup of Truth. When you are done reading each book, sit back an contemplate on what you have read and ask yourself.... does this make sense or is this more media intended for Confusion and Control.

Ask the Universe and your Spirit Guides to lead you to the Truth. Just don't expect to find it all over night. It will take years and possible a lifetime. Do not let anyone tell you this is the Truth and the only Truth. This includes your reading my own words. Ingest them, then draw your own conclusions and decipher your own Truth. If it simply just sound like it doesn't make sense, then you are using your brain and not just accepting the words you read as fact.

The Control System is about Lies............!
The Control System is about keeping you Spiritually Ignorant........!
The Control System is about Brainwashing you......!
The Control System is about Controlling you.......!
The Control System is Religion........!

You do not need a Religion to be Spiritual.

Do not waist your time arguing with Religious fanatics. Let them lay in their own bed of Ignorance.

Never let anyone Control your Life.... unless you are underage and living with your parents. In that case you must be in Control till you are old enough to make smart decisions.

Never let anyone Control your Spiritual Freedom.

Fight the Powers that Enslave you.

Except nothing less than Truth.

Do not dwell in Darkness. Fill yourself with Light and you will be filled with the Truth you Seek.

Be yourself... the God Being that you truly are...............!

Nachman Of Breslov

Nachman Of Breslov Image
One of the great mystic and saint of 19th century was Nachman of Breslov also known as Reb Nachman of Bratslav, Nachman from Uman, or simply as Rebbe Nachman (April 4, 1772 - October 16, 1810).

Rebbe Nachman breathed new life into the Hasidic movement by combining the esoteric secrets of Judaism (the Kabbalah) with in-depth Torah scholarship. He attracted thousands of followers during his lifetime, and after his death, his followers continued to regard him as their Rebbe (teacher) and did not appoint any successor. Rebbe Nachman's teachings continue to attract and inspire spirituals the world over. He was and still is a testimony to the world as a timeless mystic soul's manifestation.

Let me share some of his inspiring teachings, wisdom and also some important reference site for this life, works and teachings.

Sometimes, when a person gets too caught up in philosophies and sophistication, he needs to purposely free himself of his mind and do things which make him seem silly, to "Be crazy with love" (Proverbs 5). Meaning, in his love for Hashem he does things which make him seem crazy.

Philosophies and intellectual wisdoms are not needed at all. Only pure and simple faith. Because too much sophistication can greatly damage a person.

Always remember: happiness is not a side matter in your spiritual journey - it is essential.

One must never be old, neither an old saint nor an old follower. Being elderly is a vice, a man must always renew, begins and begins anew

Criticising others, giving them an unwelcome feeling, can be done by anyone. Uplifting them and giving them a good feeling - that takes a special gift and spending effort.

Just as God constricted his infinite light in creating the world, for due to the greatness of the light there was no room for creation, so too a person needs to constrict the infinite light of his heart in order to serve God in measure and in steps, for if the light would remain unconstricted it would be impossible to serve Him. So it turns out, in both cases, that this "constriction" of the light actually makes room for its own "revelation."

And know that a person needs to traverse a very, very narrow bridge, but the fundamental and most important principle is to have no hesitation or fear at all.

The Blessed Holy One constantly constricts his godliness from utmost infinity to the most finite center point of this physical world and he sends to each person thought, speech and deed according to the person and according to the time and place. He enclothes within the thought, speech and deed, hints, in order to bring the person close to his service. Therefore a person needs to delve his mind into this and expand his consciousness in order to understand what the hints are in their details which Hashem is sending to him in the thoughts, words, and deeds of this day according to the specific circumstances he finds himself in. In business or work and in everything that Hashem sends to him each day he needs to delve and expand his mind in it, in order to understand the hints of Hashem.

Mahayana Buddhism Aka Northern Tradition

Mahayana Buddhism Aka Northern Tradition Cover Buddhism Continues to Grow:

The original tradition within Buddhism, Theravadan, continues to flourish even today, but around the First Century BCE, a split began to develop. The Theravadans held fast to the ideas of monastic discipline, scholarly attainment, and strict adherence to the Scriptures of the Buddha, while others saw this as being inflexible and difficult for anyone besides a monk to come to terms with. As a result, a movement to bring Buddhism to the "common people" began to gain popularity. This movement would eventually lead to the Development of Mayahana Buddhism.

"Theravada Buddhism focused primarily on meditation and concentration, the eighth of the Eightfold Noble Path; as a result, it centered on a monastic life a an extreme expenditure of time in meditating. This left little room for the bulk of humanity to join in, so a new schism erupted within the ranks of Buddhism in the first century AD, one that would attempt to reformulate the teachings of Buddha to accommodate a greater number of people. They called their new Buddhism, the "Greater Vehicle" (literally, "The Greater Ox-Cart") or Mahayana, since it could accommodate more people and more believers from all walks of life. They distinguished themselves from mainstream Theravada Buddhism by contemptuously referring to Theravada as Hinayana, or 'The Lesser Vehicle.' "

The story goes that at first, the abilities of Buddha’s followers to comprehend what he had attained was limited, thus his teachings had to focus on the most important concepts of enlightenment and Nirvana. It is often said that The Buddha foresaw a time when his disciples would be ready for more than these basic teachings. This slow evolution of Buddhist thought beyond the original teachings of the Buddha demonstrated the great flexibility and openness that was possible in Buddhism, thus as it moved out of India to other countries, it was rapidly integrated into the cultures it encountered.

"Many Buddhists, especially Westerners, tend to see both the Theravada and Mahayana approaches as not being contradictory or in opposition but rather as complimentary to each other. The Mahayana is often seen as an expansion of or commentary on Theravadan teachings."

Bohdisattva Warriors:

Theravada or Hinayana Buddhism embraced the concept of the Bodhisattva, or "one who achieves perfect attainment." Theravadan Buddhists saw this as merely a guide or a model to the journey of individual enlightenment. Thus any adherent of the Theravadan Tradition who through strict discipline and devotion to scripture became enlightened had lived up to the ideal of the Bodhisattva. But Bodhisattva was seen merely as a teaching tool, only as a part of the individual’s path in reaching Nirvana. It would not reach beyond this until the formation of the Mahayana Tradition.

The Mahayana determined that Bodhisattva was a mandate not for individual perfection, but to save all sentient beings from suffering. Mahayana Buddhists take a vow NOT to enter Nirvana, even though they too strive to reach enlightenment. Instead their vow is to return to the world of suffering and assist all others in reaching Nirvana first, thus casting the role of Buddhists as compassionate protectors and saviors.

"The bodhisattva is translated literally as 'one whose essence is perfect wisdom' or 'one destined for enlightenment.' The essential Characteristics of the bodhisattva in both sects are compassion, selflessness, wisdom, and servitude. The bodhisattva takes a vow: 'I must lead all beings to liberation, I will stay here until the end, even for the sake of one living mortal'. " 3

The spread of Mahayana in Asia:

Theravada Buddhism continued to be dominant in Southern India and Ceylon (Sri Lanka) and spread South and East through the Indo-Chinese Peninsula while Mahayana Buddhism grew and spread to the North and East.

Mahayana broke into several sub-types:
bullet In China: Cha’an, (more popularly known by its Japanese name, Zen), and Pure Land. Both would later be transmitted to Japan. Zen migrated to Korea.
bullet Vajrayana, or Tantric Buddhism which moved North and West, finally taking root in Tibet.
Over time, several schools of the Mahayana Buddhist philosophy evolved, but the main ones today are Pure Land and the Zen, both of which originally developed in China. A third school, the Nirchiren group developed in most recent times and is based on the White Lotus Sutra teaching of the Buddha. 4

"The dominant group today is the Mahayana following, and this is in part due to a Royal supporter. In the third century BC, Buddhism was boosted by the patronage of a powerful king, the Emperor Ashoka who converted after a particularly vicious victory in battle. He became a major supporter of the Mahayana Buddhism and funded its growth around many parts of India. In conjunction with the council, he also sent missionaries to regions outside India, beginning the spread of Buddhism around the world."

Liber Satangelica

Liber Satangelica Cover

Book: Liber Satangelica by Nathaniel Harris

Living as I do in Norwich city, Norfolk, England, I cannot help but be aware of the extent and majesty of power that the Church once held over England’s populace. Yet also, I cannot avoid awareness of the pagan mysteries and their survival under Christian masks. In the cathedrals here there are some of England’s most famous Green Men, often identified as Cain, who hide amongst the cloisters and grin at us from beneath the misericord. All around are the gargoyles, fear inspiring and atavistic.

There is very little that I can say to convince any reader that has never been smacked across the room by an errant spirit that such things might actually happen. All I can say is that if the ‘psychological paradigm’ is the only approach you feel comfortable with, then you are welcome to reinterpret all I have to say according to your limited and stunted belief system. For my own part, however, I have absorbed the language of rational psychology and employ it readily to describe various process and phenomena wholly unacceptable to modern ‘rationality’. I apologise if this seems patronising, but as far as I am concerned… you started it. The words on this page also gain their meaning through a similar process of interpretation in the mind of the reader (i.e. you). In this sense they are a form of enchantment. Indeed the written word has always been considered as magical.

For the sake of context I shall say a little about those works which have had the greatest influence on the traditions of witchcraft and magick generally. Where possible the student is advised to seek out copies of these works, although such are usually only available to academics of high standing. An extremely valuable and easily available published text to aid in the study of the traditional grimoire is Arthur Edward Waite’s monumental text currently available as The Wordsworth Book of Spells

The Occult Art Of Acquiring And Directing Spirit Servants

The Occult Art Of Acquiring And Directing Spirit Servants Cover

Book: The Occult Art Of Acquiring And Directing Spirit Servants by Ilmu Khodam

One of the most interesting occult arts to be found in Islamic occultism is what the local practitioners here in Indonesia call "Ilmu Khodam" The word ilmu (pron. "eel-moo") literally means "knowledge." In Indonesian shamanism, ilmu particularly refers to a specific occult art -its theory, practice, and the resultant power or ability--emphasis is especially placed on power. Khodam (pron. "kho-dum") or Khadam, an Arabic word as is "ilmu," may be translated as "servant." In al-Hikmah, one of the terms for occult science in Islam, the word khodam refers to an acquired familiar spirit, unlike Qarin, which is a companion spirit one is born with. These khodam familiars, are not animal spirits, or at least, they do not normally appear in animal form, unlike the familiars of wicca and shamanism. Generally speaking, the khodams are said to be specialized spirits of the angelic/jinn class, though some occult practitioners explain that khodams are specifically the angelic servants embodied and guarding the letters of the Arabic alphabet, and even the Asma ul-Husna--the 99 Beautiful Names of Allah. A minority of practitioners believe them to be intermediate spirits between angels and jinns.

From the foregoing information, we may define "Ilmu Khodam" to be the occult art of conjuring and acquiring invisible helpers to assist in one's magickal operations. The nature and spiritual level of the khodams that the occult practitioner acquire is dependent upon his/her own spiritual attainment. Not all khodams have the same powers or to the same degree. The master of a khodam would have to inquire the spirit familiar regarding its speciality, nature, class, origin, and other pertinent matters. Khodams are said to be charismatic, have powerful presences, with strong personalities and revealing identities. They are also highly intelligent and communicative. They have a calm nature and their words are filled with wisdom. Khodams normally appear in robes. Several years ago, the writer of this article was initiated into the methods of Ilmu Khodam by one of its modern pioneers here in Indonesia.

Acknowledging that the above specific explanation regarding khodams are correct, in addition, these spirits, according to our initiator, are actually one of the earliest created (emanated?) beings and are a class of their own--they do not belong to either groups of angels and jinns. Their have a benign nature and have sworn to serve only for good purposes so that they might acquire merit and evolve further, perhaps allowing them to attain a higher spiritual status permitting them to approach closer to the Throne. These khodams were "created" to be the guardians and helpers of humanity. They possess wonderful powers, although circumscribed by cosmic law. They are programmed to assist those who would first take the initiative to help themselves, and those who are in dire straits. Perhaps angelic assistance that people are experiencing all over the world are khodamic-activity.It is believed by practitioners of Ilmu Khodam that most spiritual adepts in the past possessed khodams, and that it is possible to invoke the energies of these khodams or even persuade them to become one's magickal companion. Adepts of the past leave behind them magickal energies permeating their physical remains and possessions and even in their khodams. Acquiring these energies could increase the practitioner's powers. The shamans in Indonesia often seek the left-over power of an adept wielded by their khodam; they also believe that sometimes it is the khodam that seeks for a worthy vessel. Thus, there are cases where uninterested individuals in magick suddenly possess remarkable occult or psychic abilities after an illness or a traumatic event--many shamans are born this way..

A Depth Of Beginning Notes On Kabbalah

A Depth Of Beginning Notes On Kabbalah Cover

Book: A Depth Of Beginning Notes On Kabbalah by Colin Low

These notes were written with that intention: to present one view of Kabbalah as it is currently practised, so that people who are interested in Kabbalah and want to learn more about it are not limited to texts written hundreds or thousands of years ago, or for that matter, modern texts written about texts written hundreds or thousands of years ago. For this reason these notes acknowledge the past, but they do not defer to it. There are many adequate texts for those who wish to understand Kabbalah as it was practised in the past.

These notes have another purpose. The majority of people who are drawn towards Kabbalah are not historians; they are people who want to know enough about it to decide whether they should use it as part of their own personal exploration into the condition of being human. These notes may be brief, but there is enough information not only to make that decision, but also to move from theory into practice.

I should emphasise that what I present here is one interpretation of Kabbalah out of many. I leave it to others to present their own variants and I make no apology if the material is biased towards a particular point of view. It is easy, when looking at history from a great distance, to see homogeneity where there was none, and when looking at a tradition as long-lived and complex as Kabbalah there is a temptation to over-simplify and create for the modern reader the fiction of an homogeneous, monolithic and internally consistent tradition called ‘The Kabbalah’. There never was such a thing. The variety of viewpoints, interpretations and practices was (and still is) bewildering.

A version of these notes was published originally on the Internet over the period 1990-1992, and ASCII versions of the text can be found on a number of Internet and bulletin board servers. This version has been completely revised and greatly extended. I would like to thank M.S. and the T.S.H.U. for all the fun.

The Two Buddhisms And Kwan Yin

The Two Buddhisms And Kwan Yin Image
The other (called Theravada) is closer to what the Buddha actually taught -- subtle and much less appealing to devotional inclinations. Instead of faith (or confidence in external objects), wisdom is emphasized, as are practice towards enlightenment in this life, meditation, and self-reliance. Chanting ancient texts for recollection ("sati"), protection (paritta), and uplift also figures into the practice. However, it is more a monastic endeavor rather than mantra-japa or prayer. And it is usually done in the exclusively Buddhist language Pali, a version of which (Magahi) the Buddha spoke.

This chanting emerges from the first type of Buddhism. The intervening entity either being honored, brought to mind, beseeched, relied on, or prayed to is Kwan Yin (Guan Yin, Kannon, Avalokita/Avalokiteshvara, the Mother Goddess in her guise as a Indo-Sino personification of "compassion").

Mahayana Buddhism is tre-mendously influenced by ideas and ideals that are more Hindu than is generally recognized. It prefers Sanskrit texts. For it is a school that emerged, not in China or Japan, but in India. It co-opted Buddhism's growing popularity as an Indian movement independent and philosophically antagonistic to Hinduism (the Brahmanism of the Buddha's day). It syncretized innovative Buddhist teachings, which were rejections of key Hindu tenets, with some of the very Hindu concepts the historical Buddha worked hard to rectify.

Buddhist terms were then used. And entire sutras, not attributable to the historical Buddha, were invented. Oftentimes the ideas behind these new sutras are quite Hindu but dressed in Buddhist guise. Therefore, like the innumerable gods of Hinduism, Avalokita morphed into a diety that vowed with infinite compassion to become a "bodhisattva" who saves the world.

This deity is called Kwan Yin (Kuan Yin, Gwan Yin, Guan Yin) and is akin to Catholicism's Mother Mary and/or her would-be savior son, who is an avatar of the God Almighty of Christian dogma (a sort of "brahma").

Bearing this in mind, and construing karma ("accumulated deeds capable of bearing a result") in a decidedly Hindu and Christian manner, this mantra promises to cleanse one of accumulated "sin," as it were.

"Namo ratna travaya / namo arya jnana sagara, Vairochana / byuhara jara Tathagataya arahate samyaksam Buddhaya / namo sarwa Tathagate bhyaya arhata bhyah / samvaksam Budde bhvah / namo Avalokite shoraya bodhisattvaya / maha sattvaya / maha karunikaya / tadyata / Om dara dara / diri diri / duru duru / itte we / itte chale chale / purachale purachale kusume kusuma wa re / ili milli chiti jvalam / apanave shoha."

(Lila Sakura) This is a general translation:

* Adoration to the noble Avalokitesvara, "bodhisattva", the great compassionate one.
* Having paid adoration to One who Dispels all Fears, O noble Avalokitesvara, to You adoration, O Nilakantha.
* I shall enunciate the "heart dharani," which ensures all purposes, is pure and invincible for all beings, and which purifies the path of existence.
* Thus: Lord of Effulgence, the World-Transcending One, come, come, great "bodhisattva", descend, descend. Bear in mind my heart-"dharani". Do, do the work. Hold fast, oh Victor, oh Great Victor. Hold on, hold on, oh Lord of the "Dharani". Move, move oh my immaculate image, come, come. Destroy every poison. Quick, bear in mind, quick, quick, descend, descend. Being enlightened, being enlightened, enlighten me, enlighten me. Oh merciful Nilakantha appear unto me. To you who eyes us, hail. To the Great Siddha, hail. To the Great Siddha in Yoga, hail. To Nilakantha, hail. To the Boar-faced, hail.
* Adoration to the Triple Gem. Adoration to the noble Avalokitesvara "bodhisattva", hail (The Tibetan and Himalayan Library at thdl.org).

Avalokitesvara (Sanskrit), the Bodhisattva of Compassion in the Lotus Sutra, became known as Kuan Yin. The Chinese found it easier to think of "compassion" in terms of a loving and compassionate goddess (also known as Chenrezig and Kannon).

Reciting the Great Compassion Mantra can prevent and cure the eighty-four thousand kinds of diseases, including AIDS and pneumonia. This mantra can prevent and cure all kinds of illness and diseases if recited with utmost sincerity, according to the Venerable Master Hsuan Hua.

"To recite it a full five times in one evening is to wipe away your heavy offenses of hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands, tens of thousands of millions of aeons of birth and death" ("Dharani Sutra").

People and gods ["devas"] who recite and hold the Great Compassion Mantra will obtain fifteen kinds of good birth and will not suffer fifteen kinds of bad death.

* They will not die of starvation or privation.
* They will not die from having been yoked, imprisoned, caned, or otherwise beaten.
* They will not die at the hands of hostile enemies.
* They will not be killed in military battle.
* They will not be killed by tigers, wolves, or savage beasts.
* They will not die from the venom of poisonous snakes, black serpents, or scorpions.
* They will not drown or be burned to death.
* They will not be poisoned to death.
* They will not die as a result of sorcery.
* They will not die of madness or insanity.
* They will not be killed by landslides or falling trees.
* They will not die of nightmares sent by malevolent people.
* They will not be killed by malignant spirits or ghosts.
* They will not die of ruinous illnesses which bind the body.
* They will not commit suicide.

Those who recite and hold the spiritual Mantra of Great Compassion will not suffer any of these fifteen kinds of unfortunate deaths. But they will obtain the following fifteen kinds of good births:

* Their place of birth will always have a good king.
* They will always be born in a good country.
* They will always be born at a good time.
* They will always meet good friends.
* The organs of their body will always be complete.
* Their heart will be pure and full in the way.
* They will not violate the prohibitive precepts.
* Their family will be kind and harmonious.
* They will always have wealth and goods in abundance.
* They will always obtain the respect and help of others.
* Their riches will not be plundered.
* They will obtain everything they seek.
* Dragons, "devas", and good spirits will always protect them.
* Where they are born they will see the Buddha and hear the Dharma.
* They will awaken to the profound meaning of the proper Dharma they hear.

Those who recite and hold the Great Compassion Mantra will obtain these fifteen kinds of good birth. All "devas" and people should constantly recite and hold it, without carelessness.

Book: Healing Gemstones And Crystals by Anonymous

Healing Crystals and Gemstones are one of the most beautiful, mystical and profound "energy medicine" tools, which have been used for centuries throughout all cultures, Religions and empires. Crystals bring amazing benefits to the healing arena! This Information is offered here as a service and is not meant to replace any medical treatment. No guarantee is made towards validity. Use this information at your own risk. This is my personal belief on how high quality gemstones work for me. I only use the highest quality stones. High quality stones are undyed (if possible), have no chips/fractures, and are not irradiated (to enhance color). I recommend using rounded stones for gemstone therapy. The gemstone properties listed here are for rounded, highest quality gemstones. Non-rounded gem stones may have different effects.

Religions Of The World The Illustrated Guide To Origins Beliefs Traditions And Festivals

Religions Of The World The Illustrated Guide To Origins Beliefs Traditions And Festivals Cover

Book: Religions Of The World The Illustrated Guide To Origins Beliefs Traditions And Festivals by Elizabeth Breuilly

This book, originally published in 1997, has been revised–essentially, according to the authors, because of the rapidly changing role, status and place of religion. However, the alterations are so minor that they are virtually unnoticeable. Only the final page, Faith in the Future, has been entirely rewritten–but the earlier material is still perfectly valid. And, unfortunately, the new edition is inconsistent in updating statistics. The membership of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is still given as about five million worldwide when it is well over 12 million. Figures in the sections on Hinduism and Jainism contradict other areas of the book; Sikhism quotes numbers from 1993, and Islam uses a 1996 calendar. Such sloppiness detracts from the books usefulness and Questions its necessity.

It covered the major Religions and was accurate. I looked very closely at the Christian section, because I am one, to see how close to the truth that section was and I was amazed at the accuracy of it, considering how many denominations there are. That way I could breath a little easier when I read the rest of it. As a whole it seemed unbiased and was fairly easy to read. I think it's a good book for anybody for the person who know nothing about different religions to someone how needs a refresher coarse to the vet how needs to solidify his Knowledge From another source.

Protection Of Space

Protection Of Space Cover

Book: Protection Of Space by Anonymous

In magickal practice, the protection of one's sacred space and self is a vital factor in ensuring the safety and equilibrium of one's lower microcosmic being, home, and place of occult operation against psychic and corporeal intrusion of unwanted entities. The entities referred to here are the human and subtle sort--both have the potential of being equally nasty, troublesome, and satanic. In Esoteric Islam, Satan or "Syeitan" is understood as a universal characteristic of the lower worlds that may be embodied by sentient beings, and not as is commonly thought, an individual entity.

Apart from the protection of a clearly defined area, what may be considered of primary importance is the protection of the vehicles of the indwelling Spirit from psychic violation and damage, however, this is a subject in itself, and is outside the scope of this article. God/dess willing, we will probably deal with this later in a future paper. In this article we will focus on instructing several methods of deploying magickal barriers to defend a chosen area and the individuals living or working therein.

The installation of magickal "fortresses" may protect one against psychic attack, black magick, fascination, hexes, obsessing/negative entities, physical intruders, thieves, trespassers, natural disasters, riots, (even the MIB, CIA, NSA, Big Brother, if God be willing :- ) ) etc.

Buddhism Without Beliefs A Contemporary Guide To Awakening

Buddhism Without Beliefs A Contemporary Guide To Awakening Cover

Book: Buddhism Without Beliefs A Contemporary Guide To Awakening by Stephen Batchelor

In this wonderful, concise introduction, Batchelor has captured the essence of the Buddha's teachings . By going directly to the source and peeling away the accumulated dogma of various traditions, he makes Buddhism relevant for our time. He shows how, despite the Buddha's wishes, over time Buddhism became a religion and an institution unto itself. Of course, rigid doctrinaire thinkers like Bob Thurman will see red when they read Batchelor's simple wisdom, which eliminates the need for hocus-pocus and a priestly class. Batchelor even questions the need for belief in karma and reincarnation, long accepted as essential Buddhist beliefs.

Those with an interest in Buddhism will welcome this new book by Stephen Batchelor, former monk and author of Alone With Others and The Awakening of the West. But those who are just discovering this increasingly popular practice will have much to gain as well-for Buddhism Without Beliefs serves as a solid, straightforward introduction that demystifies Buddhism and explains simply and plainly how its practice can enrich our lives. Avoiding jargon and theory, Batchelor concentrates on the concrete, making Buddhism accessible and compelling and showing how anyone can embark on this path-regardless of their religious background.

As in all the major religions, there is a wisdom behind the theology of Buddhism that informs the believer in daily life. Stephen Batchelor would argue that the difference with Buddhism is that the wisdom is in fact independent of the theology and is not informative to believers only, but to everyone. In Buddhism Without Beliefs Batchelor lays out the major tenets of Buddhist wisdom, commenting on their relevance to modern life. The Buddha said that seekers must find the Truth for themselves, and Batchelor offers this book as a roadmap.

Batchelor presents his ideas in simple, but not simplistic, prose, with easy-to-grasp examples. His credentials as a Buddhist and a scholar are beyond reproach, and while others may disagree, no one can question his seriousness and authority. Unlike self-styled gurus and flim-flam artists like "Lama Surya Das" (Jeffrey Miller), Batchelor is not interested in self-aggrandizement; merely in conveying his ideas.

He succeeds admirably in this book.

Highly recommended.

The Astral Plane Its Scenery Inhabitants And Phenomena

The Astral Plane Its Scenery Inhabitants And Phenomena Cover

Book: The Astral Plane Its Scenery Inhabitants And Phenomena by Charles Webster Leadbeater

Few words are needed in sending this Little Book out into the world. It is the fifth of a series of Manuals designed to meet the public demand for a simple exposition of
Theosophical teachings. Some have complained that our literature is at once too abstruse, too technical, and too expensive for the ordinary reader, and it is our hope that the present series may succeed in supplying what is a very real want. Theosophy is not only for the learned; it is for all. Perhaps among those who in these little books catch their first glimpse of its teachings, there may be a few who will be led by them to penetrate more deeply into its philosophy, its science, and its religion, facing its abstruser problems with the student's zeal and the neophyte's ardour. But these Manuals are not written only for the eager student, whom no initial difficulties can daunt; they are written for the busy men and women of the work-a-day world, and seek to make plain some of the great truths that render life easier to bear and death easier to face. Written by servants of the Masters who are the Elder Brothers of our race, they can have no other object than to serve our fellow-men.
